With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching next week in the U.S., we wanted to take a moment and reflect on Guiding Wealth’s journey so far.

We also wanted to say thank you to all of our wonderful clients who make financial planning such a fulfilling and exciting career!

A quick trip down memory lane

At Guiding Wealth, we’re committed to helping our clients build wealth and create a financial plan that meets them through all of life’s transitions. We get to know each and every client’s money values, communication preferences, personal backgrounds, and financial standings before building a custom financial plan to meet their goals.

If you’re new to our firm, a longtime client of ours, or considering working with us for retirement planning or transition planning, then that’s what you can expect when you work with Guiding Wealth.

Helping clients uncover the possibilities

What do we love most about helping people through Guiding Wealth? Hannah can name a few things she loves about being a Certified Financial Planner™.

A note from Hannah:

Most people hear “financial planning” and think that the job is all about numbers and investments. While the numbers do make up a big part of the day-to-day, it’s much more than that. The most rewarding part of being a planner is helping clients discover what they can do. It’s about the possibilities

My job as a Certified Financial Planner™ isn’t to tell you what you can’t do — it’s to help you figure out what you can do. When you think about it like that, the numbers are just a small part of the job.

Numbers and problem-solving

Of course, being proficient with numbers does help when it comes to being a planner, and that’s another thing Hannah enjoys in her role. From investing to evaluating insurance policies to retirement planning, finding solutions for client’s questions routinely take problem-solving and analytical skills.

In a way, financial planning is a creative outlet for us! Many people think of numbers and math as static and logical; there’s no room for traditional creativity. To us, though, that’s not true. Every client we help is different, and there is no cookie cutter plan that works for everyone.

While to some this may seem technical, to us it’s almost like art. Each family’s values, priorities, and risk tolerance are different, which guides the overall masterpiece we create: their financial plan.

Thank you!

Again, to all of our clients at Guiding Wealth: THANK YOU for choosing us to help you with your financial needs! We love that we get to do work that matters, that truly makes an impact in people’s lives. Here’s to continuing to serve our clients and their families.
